With so many families breaking up, the impact on the lives of children is a growing concern and it is heart-warming to know there are people like Anne Ryder, selflessly giving her time and expertise to help in times of crisis.
For over 21 years Anne has been a volunteer at the Solihull Child Contact Centre, where she has been team leader and coordinator volunteering for at least 20 hours each week liaising with solicitors and family court welfare officers (CAFCASS) to help vulnerable families.
Over 1000 families have been helped and colleagues and contacts say Anne is always there to help and has supported so many families, being a role model in the way she manages situations.
Anne also volunteers at the Rayner House & Yew Trees care home, where she is a Trustee.
